Learn more About Blessed Generation Kenya
SINCE 1980s.
Blessed Generation is a home for many.
Blessed Generation has been in operations since the late 80s as a small NGO in the Central part. of Kenya, Ruiru. With a few structures, the home would take care of up to 75 children every year.
During this early time, the home was focused only on offering basic needs, medication, and primary education to needy children.
- Every child was able to go to school
- Every child was given proper health care.
OUR BRIEF HISTORY.
A Story About Us
Our organization, registered as a Charitable Children’s Institution and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), operates with a mission to offer a brighter future for over 1000 vulnerable children. Guided by Ria Fennema and her husband Fester, alongside a dedicated team of over 100 qualified Kenyan staff, Blessed Generation’s impact resonates across three main locations: Nyamira in West Kenya, Malindi along the coast, and Ruiru in Central Kenya.
Up to date, the home has continued to grow tremendously to be able to stretch help to over 1000 needy children every year. To reach this vast number, Blessed Generation has developed different projects such as 2 new branches in Malindi and Nyamira, schools (primary, secondary, and college education), outreach programs, and a housing project.

Being a part of Blessed Generation changed my life. They gave me not just an education but also a sense of belonging and purpose. Today, I’m a Teacher, and I owe it all to the support and love I received at BG.
